Kalyan Eparchy Youth (KEY) organized ‘Mahatheerthadanam 2024’ on 22nd March, (the 40th Friday of Lent) for all the members of the Eparchy. This walking pilgrimage was inaugurated by bishop HE Mar Thomas Elavanal.
The walking pilgrimage started from Mother of Victory Shrine, Tikujiniwadi, Thane on 22nd March and concluded St. Thomas Cathedral and Pilgrim Centre, Kalyan West.
Over 700 members of the Eparchy including children, youth and senior citizens participated in this walking pilgrimage. Even the parish priests joined in this spiritual walking pilgrimage.
This walking pilgrimage was organized by the Eparchial representatives of the KEY (DEXCOs) under the guidance and leadership of Fr Soji Pezathinkal, the Director of KEY and Fr Jitin Kottarathil, Asst. Director of KEY.
